About TripFeeMath

TripFeeMath is an independent reference for travelers who've had a flight cancelled, a bag lost, or a fee they didn't expect.

The rules that protect air travelers are spread across federal regulations, DOT notices, treaties and dozens of airline pages. We collect them, quote them, date them and link them, then turn them into steps you can follow and a calculator you can use.

We don't rate airlines, don't publish reviews, and don't guess missing numbers. See the methodology and the affiliate disclosure.

Visitor counting

We count anonymous visits so we know which pages are useful. There are no cookies, no ad or third-party tracking scripts, and we don't store IP addresses. A few lines of script on each page send us the page address, the site you came from (domain only), and your browser type. Cloudflare, our host, adds the country. To count unique visitors, we use a one-way code made from your connection details and a secret that changes every day, so we can't recognize you from one day to the next or work out who you are.
